Description

POD12 is a six output AES/EBU digital audio distribution amplifier.  This unit is available in both 75 Ohm and 110 Ohm versions.   It features cable equalization and reclocking techniques that enable the unit to reliably recover the incoming digital audio signal.  A convenient seventh output on a 1⁄4" jack on the front panel may be used to monitor the signal using a WBS Audio Bit Buddy™ or POD11A, or to route the signal to another destination.  Lock, Confidence and No Lock LED tallies are located on the front panel.  Confidence and No Lock alarms are brought out via the 9 pin connector located on the rear panel.  These alarms are open collector outputs that follow the front panel LED tallies.  All inputs and outputs to POD12/75 are made via BNC connectors located on the rear panel with a transformer balanced looping HiZ input.  For POD12/110, all inputs and outputs are transformer balanced and made via terminal blocks located on the rear panel.

Factory standard all PODS are supplied in a stand alone desktop POD-PACKAGE.  PODS in rack mount assemblies many be ordered as a factory option.

RMK1 - is a single 1 rack unit center mount assembly
RMK2 - is a dual 1 rack unit mount assembly (if different PODS are mounted side by side, please specify which unit is located on the left, and which is on the right)
RMK3 - is a dual 1 rack unit mount assembly including a front and rear blank panel set.  (please specify whether the blank is on the left or right)
