The AMX9A comprises a 9-input mixer with monitor level/output control, four speakers, and a line output control in a compact 1RU package.  

This unit is ideal for "hot mic" monitoring as required in certain intercom situations.   Up to nine monophonic signals can be proportionally mixed to suit the listening requirements, while the monitor level control sets the overall level of the 4 internal speakers. The AMX9A is equipped with a front panel mounted TRS headset jack. Inserting a headset mutes the speakers while directing the monitor signal to the earpieces. Two outputs with individual gain control of the mixed signal are provided on pluggable screw terminal connectors located on the rear panel.  A front panel LED illuminates when the unit is plugged into an active AC power source. The AMX9A is equipped with an integral power supply ... no "wall warts".  All connections to the AMX9A are made on pluggable screw terminals located on the rear panel.
