POD9 is a six by one analog video switcher. Connections to POD9 are made on the rear panel via BNC type connectors. Two copies of the selected input are provided. POD9 may be used in conjunction with an analog audio switcher (POD2), or a digital audio switcher (POD10) for audio follow video switching applications. When POD9 and POD 2 or POD10 are in the audio follow video (slave) mode, any switch activated on POD9 will result in the corresponding switch occurring on POD2 or POD10 and vice versa. Video switching on POD9 occurs in the vertical interval. If the selected input does not have a valid sync, POD9 will switch randomly. POD9 may also be controlled remotely using its RS422 serial interface. Please see product POD9R for more information.
